Creating new boilerplates
Standard boilerplates
Standard boilerplates are single blocks of text that can be inserted when editing pages. Typically, they are inserted at the cursor, over a selection, at the beginning, at the end, or over all existing text.
Wrapping boilerplates
Wrapping boilerplates are boilerplates that consist of an opening block that is inserted before the cursor or selection and an closing block inserted afterwards. A third block can be provided to give guidance text when inserted at a cursor rather than a selection. This guidance text is automatically selected to allow it to be easily erased simply by typing.
List of boilerplates
These are the existing boilerplates within the Boilerplate namespace:
Any wiki page can potentially be set up as a boilerplate, but any such pages outside the Boilerplate namespace are not listed here.
